When addressing the finale of “The Wendy Williams Show,” Kevin Hunter didn’t hold back.
The final episode of Williams’ daytime chat show was criticized as “lewd” by her ex-husband, who is currently suing Debmar-Mercury for producing the program.
“I think it’s a shame for Debmar-side Mercury to have made such an unofficial departure without Wendy’s involvement,” he said in a statement to “Entertainment Tonight.” As for a show that’s been running for more than ten years, Hunter, 50, said, “It’s the first time something like this has been done in talk show history.” In my opinion, there’s no reason why there can’t be a big party with Wendy’s.
