review for strange things Season 4, Episode 1 has arrived! Season 4 is going to be even bigger than the other three, and is therefore split into two parts. Part 1 is coming to Netflix on May 27 in less than a week. And now, the reviews of the first episode are out.

Official reviews won’t start coming until May 23, but some who attended the event praised it saying it looks like a setup to have the best season yet.

Collider’s Steven Weintraub tweeted, saying the team took the time to set up the rest of the season in the first episode. Because of that, episode 1 is about an hour and 15 minutes long. Other reactions stated that Season 4 is turning out to be the scariest season ever. The Duffer Brothers have made the series more mature, seeing as how the characters have grown as well. But he still retained the parts of the series which are loved by the audience. Meanwhile, the direction and visually stunning cinematography have been praised by other critics. The overall look of the show has changed for the better.

To summarize, we know that the gang is in different places. Mike, Dustin and Lucas are still at Hawkins, while Eleven Byers has moved in with the family. Hopper is reportedly dead, but we get to see that he is in a secret prison in Russia. How the gang comes together to tackle evil is the rest of the story.

Stranger Things Season 4 Part 1 will arrive on May 27 and Part 2 will arrive on July 1.
