Lee Minho called his character in Pachinko “a villain born of tragedy”.
Pachinko, the New York bestselling novel adapted for Apple TV+ drama and showing a story that audiences love. A Korean immigrant family moves to live far away from their native place and deal with the struggles that come their way. Hansu is a powerful character played by Lee Minho in the story and he recently opened up about it.
While in the play Minho has also anchored an episode to tell the background and history of her character. He said that his character is a “villain born of tragedy”. Talking about his previous characters played by him. He said that he has tried to play every character so that he tells it to be true.
Minho talks about working with Sue Hugh
When asked how it was different working with Pachinko and his team. Minho talks about showrunner Sue Hugh and how it was working with her. However, screenwriters usually don’t come to studios in Korea, he added. But Minho found it worthwhile to work with Sue Hugh.
