Several acts will take to the stage this week to compete for a coveted spot in Sunday’s live final, June 5, under the watchful eye of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams.
A total of 40 acts have made it to this crucial stage of the beloved ITV talent contest and will be just one opportunity – live on TV – to win over the judges and viewers at home.
Golden Buzzer acts including singer Lauren Allred, comedian Axl Blake, dance troupe Born to Perform, duo Flintz & T4yler and magician Keiichi Iwasak made it straight to the semi-finals.
But who will compete for the final prize?
Who are Britain’s Got Talent finalists?
Maxwell Thorpe
Sheffield Busker Maxwell won the hearts of the nation during a BGT audition, and he did not disappoint during Monday’s semifinal.
As he closed the show, all four judges gave him a standing ovation, as the entire audience packed into the Hammersmith Apollo, with David saying he should have been given a ‘golden buzzer’.
Looking at their performances so far, we know Sunday’s final will be one to remember.
Jamie Leigh
After the decision to save comedian Jamie and magician Junwoo was left to a public vote, audiences rejoiced as the youngster was confirmed as the second finalist.
Jamie, 13, and his partner, Chuck, also earned praise from the judges during the audition.
During Monday’s show, the young man said, ‘I started ventriloquism in the first lockdown.
‘We are rehearsing a lot for the semi-finals and we are not going to win it.’
‘No, we’re going to win it,’ said Chuck excitedly.
It didn’t happen!
Britain’s Got Talent returns Tuesday night at 8 p.m. on ITV.
