Tonight’s episode of the hit ITV soap Coronation Street is sure to leave fans stunned even more.

The dramatic incident of Tuesday (31 May) night happened after Imran Habib (Charli de Mello) discovers Abi’s (Sally Carmen) intention to kidnap baby Alfie and run away together.

Imran becomes angry, he refuses to tell wife Toya Battersby (Georgia Taylor) about his plan to the police – Kevin (Michael Levell) also urges Imran not to call the police.

Tensions build up, and as Imran decides to confess his betrayal to Toya, including about Ben lying in court, something happens – and we see the two in a damaged car. have fallen.

Did any of the characters die in the rubble, though? And will we ever get to see the actual accident itself?

Yes, sadly, the Coronation Street car accident would claim one of its characters.

Imran is leaving Habib Cobbles for good, as he died in tonight’s episode after an accident.

Actor Charlie De Mello, 32, is moving on to new projects after five years in the role Toyah’s husband.

In March 2022, Charlie told Metro.co.uk how he felt that Imran was a ‘selfish’ character.

He added: ‘Imran is more selfish than he used to be… you should never judge his character but I guess I’ve been doing it long enough that I need to have an opinion about him now. Is allowed.

In early March it was first revealed that Charlie was moving away from Weatherfield.

Will we really see the Coronation Street car crash?

Obviously, we will.

When this first happened on Tuesday (May 31) night’s episode, fans saw Imran and Toya knocking on the car, but not the horrific scenes of the car accident.

Looks like the wreckage will be visible via flashback of a character in the installment on Friday (June 3).

And then there will be more to keep fans hooked.
