Manchester police officers charged with child sex offenses

to greater Manchester Police officers have been charged with child sex offences.

Serving constables Cameron Barker (26) and James Williams (39) are accused of exchanging an indecent image of a child.

The incident is being told of March 2019.

The pair are set to appear at Tameside Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, July 14.

Greater Manchester Police confirmed that both officers have already been suspended.

A statement from the force read: ‘Two serving officers in Manchester have been charged with creating or distributing an indecent image of a child.

PC Cameron Barker (26) and James Williams (39) will appear in court in July.

‘It is alleged that an image was exchanged between them. Both of them have been suspended.
