The Premier League champions have already made what will certainly be the biggest signing of the summer in Hollande from Borussia Dortmund.
Alvarez was actually signed from River Plate in January but was returned straight to the Argentine club, but he will now arrive in Manchester this summer to be part of a frightening-looking new attack with Haaland.
Al Mubarak says there will be more new signings to come, however, with City desperate to win the Champions League for the first time next season and are clearly leaving no stone unturned to achieve their goal.
“I can confirm that more players will come,” the president told the club’s official website.
‘We want to strengthen the team in the areas we need to strengthen, and every season some players leave and we have to constantly refresh the team.
‘I think we’ve already made two very important additions, but I hope we’ll add a few more.’
While there may be more newcomers to come, Al Mubarak is happy with the big name they have already snatched up at Haaland, admitting that they have signed the best option as they were looking for the centre-forward. .
“We have what is arguably the best number nine in the world at the right age in Holland,” he said.
‘When you look at the next 10-15 years, we have invested in that striker in Haaland for the future.
‘He’s a very unique, incredibly talented striker that I think the whole world is watching. I would say that every major team in the world wants Haaland to be involved and we are absolutely delighted that Haaland has decided to join Manchester City.
‘For us, it’s a super decision. We are really becoming a great player. He would fit in very well with the group.’
