It is not just the country that is eagerly waiting Love Island launched on Monday, as it was revealed that the ITV dating reality show has a surprising fanbase from across the pond.

High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens can’t wait for the show to launch, as the latest batch of sexy singletons settle into the villa hoping to coupling and finally find their type on paper.

The MTV Movie & TV Awards host revealed she is ‘hooked’ on Love Island and will definitely be ‘tuning in’ to watch the new series, which stars footballer Michael Owen’s daughter Gemma and first contestant with a cochlear implant, Tasha Gouri. ,

Like the rest of us, Vanessa revealed that she loves watching the reality show ‘The Macy’.

Ahead of this year’s MTV Movie and TV Awards, which took place on Sunday in California, Vanessa told the PA news agency about her personal TV favorites, and the popular dating show was definitely on the list.

She shared, ‘Love Island really hooked me so I was there every single step.

‘It’s really interesting to see how people process things and how people identify with love.

‘I’m definitely tuning in’ [on Monday], I am still here for this.

‘I want to see everyone find love and watch it go awry along the way.’

Vanessa isn’t the only celebrity who loves to watch drama, as just last year England ace Jack Grealish admitted she’s a ‘big fan’ too.

Euro 2020 star, who was signed Manchester City for a record-breaking £100m fee, Inside City, were seen discussing last year’s series in a teaser clip, giving the final look at life inside an English Premier League club.

‘You’ve got your little Love Island Cup, haven’t you?’ Jack said to an unknown woman, who was standing outside the camera shot.

‘I mean, I don’t watch Love Island, so…’, the woman replied, prompting Jack to declare: ‘Hey, I’m a big fan.’

Naturally, the internet was sent into a frenzy, with many saying he had ‘a lot in common’ with the footballer.

‘Is Grealish a Love Island fan too?’ Wrote one. ‘May be my new favorite player.’

Love Island returns on ITV2 on Monday nights at 9 p.m.
