Johnny Depp booked one of the biggest Indian restaurants in the UK, where he and his party had dinner over a curry banquet.

The Hollywood actor, who won his highly publicized defamation suit against ex-wife Amber Heard last week and was awarded £12 million, enjoyed a lavish feast in Varanasi, Birmingham.

When his security team visited the City Center site, which can cater to 400 diners at a time, to check that it was safe and that their privacy could be respected, they followed up with the staff. Hug and chat.

Depp, 58, enjoyed the meal so much that he left with a takeout bag after staying for nearly three hours and visiting the manager’s friends and family.

He is on tour in Birmingham with famed guitarist Jeff Beck, who joined him at the Dining House, where the party ate at the palatial Siddhartha Lounge, a private, finely decorated dining room.

The waiting staff served starters, which included kebabs, curries and sweets, on dry ice plates during a customized banquet.

‘We originally got a call from the security team yesterday at around 3 pm saying they wanted to come over and look at the restaurant and make sure it was right for the trip.

‘They loved restaurants so they brought Johnny Depp here at 7.30pm.

‘Jeff Beck the guitarist was also here and there were about 20 or 22 people in total.

“He booked the entire space, so we closed the entire restaurant for him and made him sit in Siddharth Lounge.

‘They had come through a secret entrance so that no one could see them and they stayed till around 11.30.
