Jethro Lazenby dead: Nick Cave’s son’s girlfriend speaks out after death

The girlfriend of Nick Cave’s late son Jethro Lazenby has spoken out for the first time since his death.
The model was reportedly found in a motel in north Melbourne, Australia, but a cause of death has not been revealed.
His girlfriend Danica Conwell, who had known him for six years, now shared her grief over Lazenby’s death.
Conwell claims he was not invited to Lazenby’s funeral and was reportedly not told about it by his family.
“I’m not doing well with it at all and that’s what wakes up to to say goodbye, help shut down the grieving process… Denying that to someone is bad,” she said.
Paying tribute to her late lover Conwell mail told online: ‘He was certainly more than he showed to most people. It was difficult to get close to him… a high person in many ways. But his shadow plagued him.
Conwell revealed that he had plans to see Lazenby on the day of his death, but he canceled the plans in advance, adding: ‘If things had been different we would have been together again, drinking bubble tea… Why didn’t you just eat dinner that night?’
He described the late photographer as ‘lively’ and ‘passionate’, and praised his piano and poetry skills.
“He lived a wonderful life and I loved him… He had a lot to live for,” she said.
Lazenby’s father, Bad Seeds musician Kev, announced his death in a brief statement, saying: ‘With great sadness, I can confirm that my son, Jethro, has passed away.
‘We would be grateful for family privacy at this time.’
‘These letters are a great source of comfort and I want to thank you all for your support.’
He added: ‘I’ll be back on The Red Hand Files in a few weeks.
‘Love, Nick.’
