Matthew Perry was spotted and enjoying his new high-end Aston Martin sports car on Memorial Day, and who can blame him?

The Friends star and car enthusiast got behind the wheel of his Aston Martin Vantage V8 roadster, which retails for an eye-watering $145,000 (£115,000) or so for a drive around Los Angeles on Monday.

He was spotted in Beverly Hills in early May in a similar casual outfit taking a coffee and wearing a light beard and mustache, which now seems to be gone.

Announcing the book – which is due out in November – on Instagram, Matthews said at the time: ‘A lot has been written about me in the past. I thought it was time people heard from me.
