Two preschool teachers were arrested on charges of child cruelty after parents reported abusing three-year-olds over a live video feed from the classroom.

Frightened parents arriving to check on their children said they saw staff members standing on a child’s hand as well as kneeling in the back and pushing their head back.

The alleged incident is said to have happened last week at Parker-Chase Preschool in Roswell, Georgia.

Seeing the footage, Brent Duncan and Gloria Barghee had reached the school demanding the removal of the teachers. He also called the police along with one of the parents of the alleged victim.

Zina Elostavani, 40, and Soriana Briseno, 19, were arrested after authorities watched the clip.

The mother of one of the children told WSBTV, ‘It was only a matter of seconds. I knew what we saw was intentional, and my stomach was still in my throat at the time.’

Mr Duncan said: ‘It doesn’t matter whose child it is. This is a child. They are helpless. They are defenseless.

Two pre-school Georgia teachers were arrested after a live camera feed caught both teachers abusing pint-sized students. Footage obtained by WSBTV shows a teacher stepping on a child's fingers and then hitting another student with his knee from behind. Another teacher can be seen using her finger to push a student's head back after it comes across the child's face. Parents viewing the class's live feed saw the event. https://www.wsbtv.com/news/local/fulton-county/2-roswell-preschool-teacher-arrest-after-parents-watch -alleged-abuse-live-video-classroom/EPNCAAIP35F5VN6LEAHHJ3JOS4/

Since the arrest, several other complainants have come forward with the charges and a comprehensive investigation is now underway.

A spokesperson for Roswell Police told WSBTV that they have “several weeks of video to go back and review to make sure there are no other examples of this type of behavior”.

School officials were quoted as saying: ‘While we are extremely grateful that the children are doing well, we take this matter seriously, and our investigation is ongoing.

‘We expect our employees to adhere to the highest standards of care, and any failure to do so will not be tolerated.’
