Boris and Carrie Johnson have christened their second child at Westminster Cathedral.
Five-month-old Romy, short for Rosemary, was baptized in a private ceremony at Britain’s largest Catholic church, where her parents married last year.
The service came on the weekend of her parents’ first wedding anniversary.
It also followed in the footsteps of her brother Wilfred, now two years old, who was baptized in the cathedral in September 2020.
Mr Johnson and his wife, The two, who are embroiled in the Partygate scandal, joined the wider Johnson clan for the ceremony.
The PM is extremely secretive about his personal life, does not allow photographs of his son’s face to be taken and generally refuses to be dragged on by family matters.
She recently publicly confirmed how many children she has fathered after years of uncertainty over the matter.
couple Romi’s birth was announced at a London hospital on 9 December.
Carey said in an Instagram post that Wilf was ‘tickling Romy’s hair, giving big kisses and playing with his Matchbox cars right next to his crib, just in case she felt like joining in. ‘
She thanked the obstetric staff at University College London Hospital for seeing her, adding: ‘We are very grateful.’
