Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey took her children to a bookstore to see her memoir on shelves after its posthumous release.
It also came just a week after Parker announced his autobiography, Hope: My Inspirational Life, detailing his battle with cancer.
The memoir was released posthumously last week, and Kelsey took her young children to see it being sold in a bookstore.
She shared a heartfelt Instagram video, which was soundtracked for The Wanted Gold Forever, in which she was seen holding hands with daughter Aurelia, two, and son Bodhi, 21, as they walked into the store.
Aurelia’s face lit up when she saw her late father on the book cover and gave him a kiss and a warm hug. Meanwhile, the little Bodhi was seen walking around with another copy in her hands.
Kelsey also took some time to read the book with the little ones, which featured pictures of Aurelia from Parker’s years.
In the caption, the mum-of-two wrote: ‘A special moment… our kids are so proud to see Tom’s book in store. Rai’s face when he saw her
‘Tom so desperately wanted this to be a bestseller and I’m passing everything on to become a reality this weekend. Thank you so much for all your support and lovely comments. Every single purchase means the world to us.
Announcing the book on March 21, Parker told her social media followers: ‘It’s a book about finding hope in whatever situation you deal with, and living your best life, no matter what. Are. It will show you that having faith in hope and having the courage to dream means you can move forward against all odds.’
Parker stated that the book is “not about dying: it’s a book about living,” before confirming that fans are now able to pre-order the memoir.
The late singer’s Wanted bandmates have announced that they will postpone their upcoming gig because they are unwilling to return to the stage so soon after Parker’s death.
