All Elite Wrestling star MJF was kicked off the field after a one-sided loss to Wardlow on Sunday night.

The Salt of the Earth – who has made no secret of his openness to join WWE when his AEW contract expires in January 2024 – follows a chorus of AEW Double or Nothing after much controversy and speculation over the weekend about himself. Arrived in Future with Tony Khan promotions.

Maxwell Jacob Friedman did not show up at the Fan Fest over the weekend, while there were reports that he had a last-minute flight from Las Vegas booked for Sunday’s show due to his condition being unclear.

Fans chanted ‘You f**ked up’ and ‘Hey show up’ as the 26-year-old wrestler arrived for his match with Wardlow, the culmination of a nearly three-year story.

Before the match began, he pointed like an airplane and sped away from the crowd, enraging the crowd even more.

In the end, the match went on as Wardlow hit his storyline-employer with 10 powerbombs before taking a dominating victory.

MJF goes on a stretcher, while the stipulation of the match means his employee’s contract is over, and after the bell is announced by Tony Siavone, he is now the All Elite.

AEW owner Tony Khan even made it official on social media, with Wardlow getting his own graphic, which is a nice touch to the story.

TK said: ‘It’s official! @RealWardlow All is Elite! #AEWDoN #AEWDoubleOrNothing (sic)’

It’s been an eventful night elsewhere in Double or Nothing, with former WWE NXT stars Malcolm Bivens (Stokely Hathaway) and Ember Moon (Athena) making their AEW debuts.

Hathaway appeared during the defense of AEW TBS Champion Jade Cargill against Anna Jay, causing enough distraction to help her retain the gold.

Meanwhile, Chris Stadtlander and Anna were overwhelmed by the numbers game after ringing the bell with an onslaught from Jade and The Baddies, but Athena came out to make the save.
