Brian Danielson has revealed that he will not be a part of Forbidden Door or Blood and Guts.

The All Elite Wrestling star – who worked for WWE as Daniel Bryan before exiting in April 2021 – has confirmed an injury that means he will have to take part in the AEW x New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) Supershow and next week’s Being forced to miss both special episodes of Dynamite.

In a passionate promo Wednesday night, Danielson told fans: ‘I’m not approved to compete in Forbidden Door or Blood and Guts.

‘But, lest anyone worry about my overall health, you can probably tell that my brain is working at full 100% capacity. I can jump in the ring, I can read 500 words a minute, I can run two miles and I won’t even break a sweat!

‘So don’t worry about me coming back! I have broken my neck, severed my shoulder, severed my retina, and there is no man in this world who can wrestle in this ring like I do now!’

Former world champion Jericho was set to face Zack Saber Jr. on Sunday (April 26) before moving on to Blood & Guts with Blackpool Combat Club to take on the Appreciation Society.

,[Zack] He claimed that he was going to prove he was a better technical wrestler than Brian Danielson. Not only was I excited to prove that wasn’t true, but I was about to crush his trachea.”

‘I was excited to go to Blood & Guts so that I can take revenge on Chris Jericho and his rooster crew for what they did in the chaos at the Arena.’

However, American Dragon revealed that it has chosen its replacement for both matches, and will be the same person who will join AEW for both matches – with his identity revealed on Sunday.

He said: ‘I have found a man whom I believe will take my place at the Forbidden Gate. One person I trust to have a place in Blood & Guts.

“The only person in the whole world I know who would take it on a technical level to Jack Saber Jr., and then go and kick Chris Jericho in the head in Blood and Guts.” I’ve found that one person, and you’ll be stunned by everything you do at AEW.’

His identity remains a mystery, but fans are already wondering if this could mean former WWE Superstar Cesaro becomes All Elite.
