Four shot in Lilliput, two fatally

Detectives from the Montego Bay CIB in St. James have commenced investigations into the shooting deaths of Gary Howell and Odane Findlator and the injuring of two others, including a juvenile at Grange Pen district, Lilliput last night.
Findlator and the injured aged 15 and 21, hail from Lilliput in St. James while Howell is from Point Hill, St. Catherine.
Information received by the CCN is that about 9:40 p.m., the four were among patrons at a shop when four men armed with guns approached them. The gunmen opened fire hitting them before escaping in a waiting Toyota Corolla motor car. Howell and Findlator died on the spot. The injured were taken to hospital where they were admitted in serious condition.
Two chopped to death in the garden parish

Forty-nine year-old hotel worker, Errol Green and 16-year-old Michael Fowler both of Hyatts Field, Mile End, St. Ann were chopped to death and their bodies dumped in a pit behind their home yesterday.
Reports received are that about 3:00 p.m., after Mr. Green and Michael were not seen for the entire day, residents became concerned. An alarm was raised and police were called to assist in the searching of the two. Investigators who responded, observed blood stains in the house and found the bodies of the two with multiple chop wounds in the pit. A unit from the Ocho Rios Fire Department and residents removed the bodies from the pit.
The Ocho Rios CIB is investigating.
Man shot and killed in Valley Heights

Thirty-two year-old Errol Anderson of Fellman Corner, Salt Spring in St. James was shot and killed by gunmen at Valley Heights, Green Pond also in St. James this morning.
Information received is that about 8:00 a.m., residents heard explosions in the community and called the police. Mr. Anderson was later found with gunshot wounds and was taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he died.
Detectives from the Mount Salem Police Station are probing the incident.
Ex-soldier shot dead in St. James

Forty-one year-old Troy Austin otherwise called “Glamour Troy”, an ex-soldier of Norwood Avenue, Albion, St. James was shot and killed by two men at his home last night.
Reports from the Montego Bay CIB are that about 8:10 p.m., Mr. Austin was at home when he two men kicked open his front door. The hoodlums opened fire hitting him before escaping in the area. He was taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The Montego Bay CIB is investigating.
